OPENNESS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

1. Reporting of a meeting may only take place in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 as amended and Section 3 of The Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014

With reference to photographing, recording, broadcasting or transmitting, these are allowed during the proceedings of any public session of the council or its meetings.

It is requested that the clerk and/or chairman are informed that this will take place before the meeting commences.

Any recording must cease if the council resolves to move into confidential session as per the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960.

2. The Council will publish a ‘decision record’ for certain significant decisions taken by the Clerk acting under delegated powers as specified in Standing Orders.
