Bi-monthly Parish Council meetings are 3rd Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September & November starting at 7.30pm, Annual Parish Council meeting is held in May prior to the May PC meeting.
Swaton Parish Council bi-monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday 18th November 2025 at 7.30pm. Members of the public are encourgaed to attend this meeting as observers, but will not be allowed to speak during the transaction of the business. The first 15 minutes (7.30-7.45pm) are open to the public to ask questions or raise issues in regards to matters already on this agenda as below, any other issues raised will be added to the next meeting's agenda

6. PLAYPARK
· Grass cutting – report from Cllr Campion re playpark grass cutting.
· Grant funding – Monkey bars grant – Are there any other projects which require funding – Cllr Mrs Penketh suggests applying for one final grant to include any other village issues.
7. MAJOR PROJECTS:
· Reservoir. Any update regarding the proposed Reservoir?
8. CLUSTER MEETINGS. Update on enquiries regarding the re-formation of a Cluster Group.
9. COMMUNITY SPEEDWATCH. Update on village interest and costings.
10. CHANGING TO A .GOV, OR OTHER APPROVED ADDRESS. Update.
11. NORTH END GRASS CUTTING. Cllr Mrs Penketh to explain the current situation.
12. COUNCIL SUGERIES – Discuss whether to reduce these to every 2months from January 2026. Cllr Mrs Penketh to report.
13. WELCOME PACK FOR NEW RESIDENTS. Update as to whether these are needed.
14. FINANCE –
· Monthly report from RFO, including signing of Cheques/Approval of BACS payments. Note and Accept.
· Batteries for Speed signs – Approve purchase.
· Clerk’s salary – annual increase. Cllr Mrs Patrick to explain.
· Draft budget for 2026/7. Discuss prior to final approval in January.
· LALC Clerk’s annual networking day and SLCC AGM on November 20th. Clerk to attend. Approve cost £25 plus VAT.
