NEW NOTICEBOARD - FUNDED BY THE NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND
January 2025 - Swaton finally has a new noticeboard. Thanks to THE NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND, Swaton Parish Council was able to purchase a new aluminium noticeboard which stands outside the Village Hall (AKA The Hut). The PC has generously shared this space with The Swaton Community Trust which runs The Hut. Like the PC, the Hut’s noticeboard was rotten, it had sustained water damage and was letting in water so made sense to combine the space. A map of the village (with all the house names) as well as village and PC notices can now easily be read.
