Defibrillator

Defibrillator on our Village Hall

There are now 3 Defibrillators in the village, one is privately owned and avaiable during the day until 8pm, the others are easily accessible - sited on the side of 'The Hut' adjacent to the Church and on the Eau Farm half way down West End.

When someone in the vicinity calls 999 and describes 'Cardiac Arrest' type symptoms the Operator will supply the keypad code for the cabinet.  They will also talk the caller through CPR (Chest compressions) and use of the Defibrillator.

Just press the code into the keypad and turn the handle to open.

These have been jointly funded by Swaton Parish Council, Swaton Parochial Church Council, Swaton Vintage Day, Swaton Hut Committee, The Swaton Village Fund and private donations.
